Professional Video Tripod
What’s a heavy duty video tripod that’s 7 feet or taller that’s under $200?
It doesn’t have to be super high tech, but I would really like for it to be as tall as possible (within my price range of $200) and heavy duty enough to last me a long time. I’ve seen the Davis & Sanford Maxi industrial tripod that extends to a towering 15 feet, but it’s over $1,000! Why so pricey? Isn’t there a tripod that height that isn’t considered professional, thus yielding a price in my range?
Slightly over my price is okay, but please try to keep its value to a $200 or under.
You are asking for a lot!!! Remember, that this will have your camera mounted to it and your wanting something that does 7′+ AND will last a long time. The best I could find even close to your price range is the Manfrotto 028B Triman tripod (about $285). I use (and so do a lot of other pros) Manfrotto mono- and tripods and their quality is excellent.
Most people have no use for something that tall, and that is why there are no cheap ones. Do you want something cheap that could easily blow over and ruin your camera?
